Nancy's Story
After graduating from St. Joseph's high school in 1967 I went to work for Mercy Hospital in Denver. I wanted to live by the ocean so moved to San Francisco, CA in 1969 and landed a job with Pan American Airlines. I married Jim Stone in California and we had our daughter (Janine) in California and our son (Brian) was born in Colorado 18 months later.
We moved back to Colorado in 1971 to be closer to our families. Tragically, my husband passed away at the age of 35 years old after 15-years of marriage. Four years later I met a research scientist while working at the CU Health Sciences Center. We were married for fourteen years, however, that marriage ended in a divorce in 2003.
I completed 1 ½ years of college towards a Computer Science degree. I am currently a Project Coordinator for the Energy Division of IMA of Colorado in LoDo. I love my job and this is my 4th year at IMA.
I have six PERFECT grandchildren ranging from the ages of 17 to 5. I am a truly blessed person to have them in my life.

petitively running in the mid-eighties and completed four marathons, 1 biathlon and the Mount Evans Trophy Run (15 miles to the top of 14,465 ft). I had major knee surgery 2 years ago (dislocated patella) but still love the outdoors and enjoy a variety of sports (i.e., run, mountain biking, swimming, hiking, camping and fishing.) I can't ski any more and that saddens me but being able to walk is good!
I love to travel and have been to almost every state in the Union. I have been fortunate enough to visit Hawaii three times and it was breathtaking. After returning to Colorado, I have reconnected with some very dear friends from the past. I'm currently dating the former the Sheriff of Jefferson County (I worked with John at the Lakewood Police Department in the 70's) and we had a great time in Cosumel last November. Unfortunately for me, he was relocated to Minnesota in January due to a very nice promotion.
When I see all the names on Classmates it warms my heart. I just loved going to school with all of you.
